Hey everyone — Danny, Victor, and Ben here.
Today, we’re sharing something that feels both surreal and deeply exciting: Nomadago is officially joining Pangea, a platform built around the same mission that inspired us from the beginning: helping travelers find each other, build community, and feel at home anywhere in the world. You can read the full press release here.
For us, Nomadago didn’t start as a startup idea. It started as a shared experience: three friends living out of backpacks, building connections in coworking spaces, airports, tiny Airbnbs, long bus rides, and the familiar hum of cafés in cities we’d never been before. We built Nomadago because we wanted a simple place to see where our people were, share trips, and feel less alone in the beautiful chaos of long-term travel.
What happened next was way bigger than the three of us.
To Our Community, Thank You
Over the past few years, you turned Nomadago into something we never could have imagined.
The digital nomads who used our app to:
link up with friends in new cities
share itineraries and coworking days
organize pop-up dinners and sunrise hikes
help each other feel grounded in community while constantly on the move
Your stories, feedback, and infectious sense of adventure shaped Nomadago. You helped us build a platform that reflected the spirit of the nomad world: open, generous, curious, always moving.
From the bottom of our hearts: thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey.
Why Pangea? And Why Now?
Over the past year, we’ve gotten to know the Pangea team closely. What stood out wasn’t just the product they’re building, it was the values behind it.
Pangea isn’t trying to add more noise to an already cluttered travel-tech landscape. They’re doing the opposite: bringing the best communities, tools, and experiences together under one roof so travelers can finally have a unified home.
Last week, they integrated Overlap, another popular travel platform into Pangea, and now, for Nomadago, this means our mission can grow in ways we couldn’t achieve alone. Pangea’s global network, partnerships, and product ecosystem unlock opportunities for richer trip planning, stronger community discovery, and more meaningful connections.

What’s Happening Next
Starting today:
Your Nomadago profile, trips, and connections are now part of Pangea.
You can log into the Pangea app using the same email you used for Nomadago.
Your travel data is waiting for you. The experience is familiar, but now surrounded by a much bigger world.
You’ll still have the ability to see where your friends are heading, discover travelers nearby, and plan your next adventure… just with a lot more depth, smarter tools, and a community that’s grown far beyond our original map.
If you run into questions or bumps, you can learn more in this FAQ. Pangea’s team (and ours) are here to help.
Looking Forward
Joining Pangea isn’t an ending, it’s a chance to scale the heart of what Nomadago always set out to do. Together, we’re creating a future where travel doesn’t feel disconnected or isolated, but woven together through shared journeys and serendipitous overlap.
We can’t wait for you to see what’s coming next.
With Gratitude
To everyone who has been part of Nomadago, whether you joined us on day one or last week, thank you.
Thank you for opening your inboxes to our early beta invites. Thank you for testing half-built features in airport lounges. Thank you for sharing your real travel plans, real friendships, and real feedback with us. Thank you for trusting a tiny team with something as personal as your journey, your community, and your sense of belonging around the world.
You turned a simple idea into a living network that has crossed borders, time zones, and continents. You showed us what’s possible when travelers support each other, signal-boost each other, and show up for each other in Lisbon cafés, Medellín rooftops, Bangkok coworking spaces, Mexico City taco stands, and everywhere in between.
Nomadago became what it is because of you. And now, thanks to you, it gets to grow into something even bigger.
From all three of us, thank you for being the heart of this project, for carrying it with you from country to country, and for letting Nomadago be part of your story.
We can’t wait to keep traveling with you on Pangea.
See you on Pangea. — Danny, Victor, & Ben Co-Founders of Nomadago
